Stiftung Warentest & ADAC Car Seat Test Results 05/2020 2020: Solution Z i-Fix wins Best in Class

We’re proud that the Solution Z i-Fix high-back booster car seat is the best rated car seat in its group with an overall rating* of 1.9 in the 05/2020 Car Seat Tests conducted by several European consumer organizations including Stiftung Warentest and ADAC. Child car seats were tested across several criteria:

• Safety: The Safety rating of 1.8 stands as a validation of our rigorous car seat testing standards, including hundreds of crash tests.
• Harmful Substances: The rating of 1.0 for absence of Harmful Substances is a testament to the quality materials we use in our car seats.
• Handling and Ergonomics: These were rated 1.9 and 2.1 respectively, making the Solution Z i-Fix one of the most comfortable car seats around.

Who conducts the car seat tests?

The German ADAC and Stiftung Warentest, the Austrian ÖAMTC and the Swiss TCS are leading European independent consumer organizations, which conduct testing of car seats once or twice a year. These tests are among the most important in the industry, producing crash test safety ratings for car seats among other factors such as handling and ergonomics.
